About Attorney of Record Access

General Information
Attorney of Record Service

Gain additional online access to cases on which you are an attorney of record!

The Florida Supreme Court has authorized the Broward County Clerk of the Circuit Court, 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida to provide electronic viewing to many court records, indexes and dockets as well as non-confidential document images through this website. Pursuant to Florida Rules of Judicial Administration, access to all electronic and other court records shall be governed by the Standards for Access to Electronic Court Records and Access Security Matrix.

Attorneys that currently do not have access to their court cases and documents may now subscribe to the Attorney of Record service to obtain online access to confidential cases and documents as authorized by the Florida Supreme Court.

ATTENTION!

This service is for Attorneys that are a member of the Florida Bar and in good standing. The "Attorney of Record" service provides a higher level of access to case information not provided with the "Registered User Access" service.

If you are not a Florida Bar Attorney, you are not eligible to subscribe to this service.

Attorney of Record Access includes:

  • An Attorney of Record can view the name index, progress docket and images on cases in which they appear, unless they have been made confidential by court rule or order. The Attorney of Record role also allows access to non-confidential/sealed name indexes, progress dockets and redacted images for cases in which the attorney is not the attorney of record.
  • An Attorney of Record may narrow their search results on the case search web pages to only show cases that they are considered the Attorney of Record.

Attorney of Record Access requirements:

  • Be a Florida Bar member in good standing.
  • Provide a valid Florida Bar number.
  • Register for an Online account on this website.
